Role Overview
The organization is seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Assistant to aid in inventory oversight tasks, coordinate stock management functions, and ensure inventory precision across all divisions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily inventory control and stock coordination tasks.
- Oversee inventory levels and aid in stock replenishment procedures.
- Collaborate closely with teams across Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, and Operations.
- Track and document stock movements to uphold precise inventory records.
- Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Maintain and update inventory reports, dashboards, and operational documentation.
- Coordinate communications with warehouses and suppliers regarding inventory status.
- Monitor inventory KPIs and prepare relevant management briefings.
- Address and resolve common inventory and stock-related challenges.
- Assist in inventory audits and strategies for improving stock accuracy.
- Organize and maintain systematic records and document control processes.
- Contribute to enhancements in inventory control workflows.
- Promote precision and effectiveness in all inventory management operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving supply chain and warehouse activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in inventory and warehouse management.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience within inventory control, warehouse, supply chain, logistics, or associated areas is beneficial.
- Understanding of inventory management and stock control methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with analytical capabilities.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, warehouse management systems, or inventory software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cycle counting, stock reconciliation, inventory auditing, and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and engage collaboratively with global teams.
- Experience within UAE or GCC supply chains is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications in inventory or supply chain management add value but are not required.
