About the Role

This position sits within Enterprise Technology & Infrastructure and supports the Security Response Communications function in Salesforce's Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). The team handles communications for major security incidents across Commercial and Government Cloud environments, working closely with customers, executives, and internal stakeholders. The role is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid working model, with a focus on building communication processes that are faster, more reliable, and easier to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage security-incident communications from start to finish, including customer updates, executive summaries, translation coordination, and enablement channel support, while keeping messages accurate, timely, and easy to understand.
  • Plan and coordinate communications for major security events by working with Legal, Public Relations, Engineering, and Customer Success to maintain aligned messaging through the incident lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain reusable assets such as communication templates, talking points, process guides, and contact lists that can be used across different security situations.
  • Contribute to automation efforts by helping design AI-enabled workflows and tools that reduce manual work and improve the speed and resilience of the communications program.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 1 year of experience in communications, preferably in a security, technology, or incident-response setting.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to turn technical information into clear messaging for customers, leaders, and other audiences.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective while handling several priorities at once in urgent, high-pressure situations.
  • A degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience is required; evaluation may also consider leadership, military, volunteer, extracurricular, and work experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using mass notification systems, collaboration tools, or similar communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory expectations connected to security communications.
  • Background in training or mentoring others on communication methods or incident-response procedures.
