Overview

The HR team is a vital part of the business, helping staff access the guidance, support, and resources they need to perform well. The company is looking for a meticulous and well-organized Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations and contribute to an efficient, smoothly run department.
The role covers a broad range of administrative and operational HR tasks, including hiring support, onboarding, employee relations, record keeping, compliance, and internal communication. It suits someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized under pressure, and is committed to maintaining accurate and confidential personnel information while helping employees succeed.
Recruitment and Hiring Support
- Help manage the hiring process by publishing job ads, reviewing applications, and arranging interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules and keep candidates informed during each stage of recruitment.
- Draft offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork.
- Keep recruitment files and applicant tracking records up to date.
Onboarding and HR Administration
- Support the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
- Set up employee files and ensure all required forms and documents are completed and stored properly.
- Respond to routine employee HR questions and requests.
- Maintain organized and accurate employee databases, files, and records.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure employee information remains accurate, current, and aligned with company policies and legal obligations.
- Assist with tracking HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to HR reporting, metrics, and documentation preparation.
- Support the administration of employee policies, handbooks, and workplace procedures.
Employee Engagement and Support
- Assist with engagement activities, training initiatives, and company events.
- Help coordinate performance review administration and employee development efforts.
- Support internal HR announcements and communications.
- Build positive working relationships with employees across departments.
General Administrative Support
- Handle HR correspondence, calendars, and meeting arrangements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other HR documents.
- Organize and safeguard confidential personnel records.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR Manager and broader leadership team as needed.
Qualifications
The role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, clear verbal and written communication, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and must be able to manage sensitive information discreetly. A professional, approachable, and cooperative attitude is important. A high school diploma, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree is acceptable for this position.
