Role Overview
Apex EHS is hiring a Site HSE Officer / HSE Coordinator to support construction and commissioning assignments across Germany. This is a permanent employment opportunity for a motivated safety professional who can work across multiple project locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily health, safety, and environmental support on active construction and commissioning sites.
- Carry out site walk-throughs, inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Support Permit-to-Work procedures and promote safe systems of work.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings for site teams.
- Record incidents and near misses, and help track corrective actions.
- Encourage a positive safety culture among employees, contractors, and site stakeholders.
Requirements
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of HSE experience in construction, commissioning, or industrial environments.
- NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent, widely recognized HSE qualification.
- Good working knowledge of site safety management and risk assessment methods.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage different stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
- German language ability at A2 to B1 level is acceptable; practical HSE experience is considered more important.
- A valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
- Must be open to working on site at various locations throughout Germany.
