ATCO is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VP, IT Services & Operations in Calgary, Alberta. This position is centered on enabling a fast-moving technology and security environment by keeping priorities organized, communications clear, meetings well coordinated, and follow-through on track.

Key accountabilities
- Coordinate executive priorities, meetings, decisions, and follow-up actions that help technology initiatives progress.
- Prepare agendas, briefings, background material, and status updates to keep teams aligned on milestones, risks, and next steps.
- Support change management work by helping with stakeholder communications, readiness materials, and adoption support for new systems and processes.
- Draft and polish clear messages that explain what is changing, why it matters, and how teams should respond.
- Keep project and communication files well organized, accurate, confidential, and controlled for versioning.
- Track deliverables, identify dependencies, gather inputs, and help clear obstacles so work can move forward.
- Use digital tools and platforms to improve how information is organized, shared, and acted upon.
- Research, gather, and summarize information that supports planning, decision-making, and operational readiness.
- Look for ways to improve workflows, simplify processes, and strengthen team effectiveness as business needs change.
- Build effective relationships across IT, business teams, vendors, and partners to support coordination and timely action.
- Serve as a practical link between people, priorities, and technology-enabled change while representing the team professionally.
What you bring
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related area is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including 3 or more years supporting senior or executive leaders.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High standards of integrity and discretion when working with confidential or sensitive matters.
- Interest in technology and curiosity about how IT tools and systems support business operations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal ability and comfort working across all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel, with minimal travel expected.
- Experience with MS Copilot and/or Google Gemini is considered an asset.
