Env Services Aide, Full Time, 2nd Shift

Role Overview

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for keeping hospital spaces clean, sanitary, and organized. The role covers both patient-care and non-patient-care areas, along with handling waste removal, moving furniture and equipment when needed, and replenishing supplies throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned duties in line with department procedures and expectations.
• Apply the 7-step cleaning method and maintain inspection results at 85% or higher.
• Use AIDET customer service practices consistently when dealing with patients and visitors.
• Ensure cleaned rooms are tidy, orderly, and ready for patient use.
• Store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely whenever they are left unattended.
• Mix cleaning chemicals according to the correct guidelines.
• Follow universal precautions and infection-control protocols at all times.
• Support other tasks as needed when assigned.

Education and Experience

No prior experience is required. A high school diploma or GED is recommended. Previous exposure to clinical cleaning work is preferred.

Additional Information

This position involves cleaning, dusting, polishing furniture, disinfecting hospital areas, removing refuse and hazardous waste, moving furniture and equipment, and restocking supplies across hospital facilities.
