Employee Relations Manager

Overview

This contract opportunity is for an Employee Relations Manager in the beauty industry, based in Clearwater, Florida. The assignment runs for 12 months and centers on guiding leaders through employee relations issues across a multi-state workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a dependable advisor to HR and business leadership on employee relations concerns, performance management, conflict handling, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners and people leaders to resolve workplace issues while supporting a constructive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
• Own the intake, records management, investigation process, and resolution of employee relations cases across multiple states.
• Lead careful, unbiased investigations into complex and highly sensitive employee relations matters.
• Create and run manager training sessions covering employee relations best practices, documentation standards, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bring 3 to 5 years of advancing Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years specifically in Employee Relations or Labor Relations.
• Have experience supporting employees across several states or a national workforce.
• Possess strong knowledge of employee relations practices, workplace investigations, performance management, and employment law.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Handle sensitive situations with professionalism, neutrality, and empathy.

Compensation

The hourly pay is based on experience and is presented as an estimated range.
