Role Overview

An experienced Electrician is needed for a Dubai-based role in which you will handle the installation, servicing, and repair of electrical systems across commercial and residential environments.

Key Duties

• Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair work for electrical systems such as wiring, lighting, distribution boards, and fixtures.
• Identify faults, investigate electrical problems, and implement practical fixes.
• Review schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete work accurately.
• Make sure all electrical tasks follow the relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Complete scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Keep tools, equipment, and task-related inventory in good order.
• Document maintenance and repair work whenever required.
• Use company vehicles safely to move tools, materials, and team members between job sites.
• Check vehicle condition daily, including oil, water, and tire pressure, and keep vehicles clean and well maintained.
• Maintain mileage and fuel records in logbooks.
• Observe traffic laws and all applicable safety rules.
• Support loading and unloading of electrical materials and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or ITI in Electrical is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar electrician role is required.
• A valid UAE driving licence is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with installing, repairing, and maintaining a range of electrical systems is expected.
• Strong capability to understand and work from technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints is essential.
• Good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, UAE electrical rules, and local construction codes is required.
• Ability to diagnose faults using suitable testing equipment is important.
• Familiarity with heating and air-conditioning systems as they relate to electrical work is preferred.
• You should have strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and sound safety awareness.
• The role requires comfort working at heights and in confined areas.
• Good organisation, time management, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills are needed.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and project demands is important.
• Physical fitness and stamina are necessary for the demands of the job.

Additional Information

This position combines electrical maintenance responsibilities with driving duties. The selected candidate will be expected to support site logistics, transport materials and staff, and maintain both electrical tools and company vehicles in proper working condition.
