Developer / DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a mid-level Developer / DevOps Engineer who can contribute to both software creation and DevOps operations. The position focuses on building, deploying, and supporting applications together with cloud infrastructure, with the goal of improving reliability, automation, deployment speed, scalability, and overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, enhance, and support software applications, backend services, and APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD workflows that automate build, release, and deployment activities.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions and maintain automation/configuration management systems.
• Administer cloud environments and services on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable platforms.
• Track application health, infrastructure status, operational metrics, and system reliability.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and IT teams to strengthen delivery processes.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, configuration tasks, and other operational routines.
• Apply security-focused practices across applications, infrastructure, and release pipelines.
• Investigate and fix issues related to software, infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
• Support container-based deployment and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Take part in architecture discussions, system design reviews, and technical planning.
• Keep documentation up to date, including deployment guides, runbooks, and system standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in software development, DevOps, cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or a similar function is preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C#.
• Working understanding of Git and modern source control practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, networking, server operations, and system monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is beneficial.
• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog is an added advantage.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, automate, analyze, and solve technical problems.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
