Role Overview
As a Data Entry Assistant, you will be responsible for entering, checking, and updating information across systems and databases so records remain complete and reliable. The position plays an important part in preserving data quality and improving operational efficiency throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Input information from a variety of sources into databases with a high level of precision.
- Check records to confirm they are complete and accurate.
- Spot inconsistencies or mistakes in entries and correct them promptly.
- Keep digital and physical files organized so information can be retrieved easily.
- Work with colleagues to investigate and resolve data mismatches.
- Support the preparation of reports and summaries when required.
- Handle sensitive information in line with confidentiality rules and company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification; data management certification is considered an advantage.
- Prior experience in data entry or similar administrative work is preferred.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Exposure to database platforms or data management applications is a plus.
- Well-developed organization and time management abilities.
- Capable of working on your own as well as in a team environment.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
