Security Officer - Data Center

Role overview

This position is for a Security Officer supporting a high-security data centre environment in Singapore. The role involves site protection, incident handling, and operational support across rotating day and night schedules.

Location

• Primary work sites: Jurong West and Lok Yang Way
• Backup site when needed: Loyang Way, so candidates must be willing to cover this location as required

Working schedule

• Work is on a 5-day week basis, and this includes weekends and public holidays
• Day shift: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Night shift: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Applicants must be able to work both day and night rotations

Start date

The role is intended to begin as soon as possible.

Compensation

• Gross pay of up to $3,500 per month before probation is completed
• Gross pay of up to $3,700 per month after probation is passed

Key duties

• Protect and patrol a sensitive data centre facility
• Respond quickly to security issues, incidents, and emergencies
• Carry out RTT-related duties
• Take part in physical response drills, including wearing firefighting gear and climbing during exercises

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Security Officer license with 1 available notification
• Should be comfortable using computers and basic devices or systems
• Must be able to lift heavy items and remain standing for long periods
• Should be ready to start immediately
• Needs to be dependable, vigilant, and prepared for rotating shifts
