Role Overview
Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst focused on banking and financial services. The position centers on turning raw financial and operational data into clear insights that guide decision-making, improve efficiency, and support reporting requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, check, and evaluate datasets related to banking and finance.
- Create dashboards and reports to track financial and operational results.
- Spot patterns, risks, and business opportunities through data analysis.
- Work closely with teams across business, finance, compliance, and technology.
- Maintain strong data quality, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards.
- Summarize findings and communicate them to stakeholders in a clear manner.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 3 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within banking, financial services, or a similar sector.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms is expected.
- Background in financial data analysis, reporting, and business analytics is important.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities are needed.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence software.
- Understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for analysis and automation is helpful.
- Experience handling large-scale financial datasets and SQL-based systems.
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.
