Inizio Engage works in long-term partnership with a major biotechnology company across its commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to support healthcare professionals and office teams in primary care and specialist settings within a defined disease area. This role focuses on delivering approved educational content in line with program expectations, company standards, and compliance requirements.
What the role involves
- Deliver detailed education on the assigned disease state and related care pathways to healthcare providers.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders through the use of approved educational materials.
- Work strictly within compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements for all materials, conversations, and activities.
- Coordinate with field partners while staying within the client’s defined operating guidelines.
- Complete all assigned Inizio and client training modules and competency checks within the required timelines.
- Keep accurate daily records of office interactions and submit all required reports.
- Track time and expenses in the designated Inizio systems.
- Maintain any required professional registration or licensure under company rules and applicable state law.
- Attend local and national meetings or conferences when requested to stay current and share best practices.
- Take care of client and company materials and equipment according to instructions.
- Follow company policies, the code of conduct, and all external industry regulations.
- Remain reachable during working hours to handle questions and carry out assigned duties.
- Hold a valid United States driver’s license at all times and report any offenses or penalty points immediately.
- Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
- This position does not include nursing care, medical treatment advice, or promotion of pharmaceutical products.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant is a licensed healthcare professional, preferably a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse, with a background in a relevant disease area. The role calls for strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, along with the capacity to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities across a territory.
Experience and education
- Current state license as a qualified healthcare professional is required.
- An Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent professional experience is needed.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant disease state or a closely related area is required; respiratory experience is preferred.
- Prior work in pharma or biotech as a clinical educator or in a sales role is preferred.
- Continuous professional learning and commitment to maintaining clinical knowledge are expected.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, is required.
- The applicant must live within the assigned territory.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment is required.
