Overview
This role is for an Associate Project Coordinator within the medical device and healthcare technology space. The position is based in Redmond, WA and is intended for full-time employment. Work is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to customer locations. Some travel to hospitals and client sites may be necessary.
The team is looking for an early-career professional or recent graduate who wants to build a career in project coordination, healthcare technology, operations, and client communication. The role offers practical exposure to implementation work and a pathway toward more advanced project management responsibilities.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with the delivery of healthcare technology implementation projects.
- Keep project schedules, timelines, action lists, and documentation organized and up to date.
- Serve as a communication link between customers, internal departments, and third-party vendors.
- Help prepare and support kickoff sessions as well as recurring status meetings.
- Draft meeting agendas, record minutes, compile updates, and manage follow-up documents.
- Monitor milestones, deadlines, and outstanding action items throughout each project.
- Work with Sales, Clinical Support, Technical Support, Service, Logistics, Inventory, and outside partners.
- Track equipment shipments and support installation-readiness tasks.
- Spot possible risks, delays, and scheduling clashes, and bring them to attention early.
- Escalate customer issues and project concerns to the right internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to efforts that improve project execution and communication processes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort managing several priorities and deadlines at once.
- High attention to detail and dependable follow-through.
- Professional communication style when interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Preferred exposure includes internships, academic projects, capstone work, student leadership, customer service, administrative coordination, operations, logistics, healthcare, IT, or project-based environments.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, CRM systems, ERP tools, or project management platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn scheduling and project management tools quickly.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, and reports.
- Knowledge of healthcare, networking, IT systems, or medical devices is an advantage.
- Suitable academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Communications, Operations Management, Public Health, or related fields.
