Role overview

This position is for a UAV pilot responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles to capture data used in map creation and 3D model development across different projects.

Key duties

Plan missions before each flight and ensure the operational approach is suitable for the assignment.
Carry out pre-flight and post-flight inspections to confirm the aircraft is ready and safe.
Operate the UAV carefully and follow safe flight procedures at all times.
Upload, organize, and process captured data after missions are completed.
Work closely with GIS teams and customers to support project delivery.
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance during all operations.
Handle equipment upkeep along with basic troubleshooting when issues arise.

Certification requirement

A valid RPC for small-category UAVs is required for this role.
