This role is with a leading UAE HR solutions provider, supporting a well-established client from its Dubai office. The position is focused on technical shop support for engine-related maintenance activities, with a strong emphasis on documentation, compliance, and coordination.

Core Responsibilities

  • Review technical inputs and turn them into practical, cost-effective support actions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documents such as shop visit reports and engine release paperwork.
  • Handle manual revision checks and incorporate updates from Service Bulletins.
  • Support maintenance planning activities, including engine tear-down, inspection, reassembly, and test processes.
  • Ensure that work is aligned with airworthiness, OEM, and internal compliance standards.
  • Apply working knowledge of Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), Engineering Procedure Manuals (EPMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Review, draft, and help approve workscopes, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Prepare and adapt task cards and other technical documentation for shop-floor use.
  • Coordinate with OEMs when technical troubleshooting or clarification is needed.
  • Support repair planning, tooling requirements, and implementation of modification actions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of overall industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Technical Support or a similar function.
  • Strong background in engine maintenance, workscoping, and authoring job instructions.
  • Sound understanding of OEM procedures, airworthiness rules, and relevant industry standards.
  • Hands-on experience with workscope review, Service Bulletin handling, and Airworthiness Directive processing.
  • Comfortable creating and customizing technical documents and task cards.
  • Experience using ERP platforms such as IFS or similar tools for task card and shop-floor planning.
  • Good troubleshooting ability and experience working with OEM contacts for technical assistance.
  • Knowledge of repair workflows, tooling, and modification execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with at least 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
