About the role
In this position, you will lead the delivery side of three active products and ensure each one ships the outcomes clients need, on a steady rhythm and to a high standard. This is primarily a product management role. The technical aspect matters because you will work closely with engineers on a stack built with Go, Vue, gRPC, and AI agents, and you’ll need enough technical understanding to ask pointed questions, challenge vague estimates, and spot scope creep before it reaches customers.
You will not be expected to write production code every day, but you may occasionally step into the development process when it helps the team move faster. That could mean refining a proto, defining a feature spike, reviewing a user flow, or investigating a client-side environment issue.
The products run on Go microservices deployed on Cloud Run, communicate through gRPC and Protocol Buffers, and use Cloud Spanner for data storage. The frontend is built with Vue 3, TypeScript, and Tailwind, delivered through a Go BFF layer. The AI component uses Google ADK with support for multiple model providers including Gemini, Claude, and GPT. Deployment is handled through Terraform and Cloud Build, and work is managed in Monday.com.
To work effectively in this remote position, you must have a suitable technical setup: at least an Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, with i7 or Ryzen 7 recommended. Minimum RAM is 16 GB, and 32 GB is ideal.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main owner of product delivery across all three products, so both engineers and clients know exactly who is accountable for progress and decisions.
- Convert client discussions into structured tasks in Monday.com, ensuring feature requests, bugs, changes in scope, and decisions are recorded, prioritized, and assigned.
- Work with product leads to keep backlogs prioritized, define clear acceptance criteria, and maintain roadmaps that reflect real trade-offs and timelines.
- Lead the team’s delivery ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across all three products.
- Ensure the team follows the agreed engineering practices, including code review discipline, clean branching habits, testing expectations, and controlled deployments.
- Monitor delivery pace and execution health, and raise risks or delays early instead of waiting until a demo or client meeting.
- Run weekly product check-ins with each client, guide the conversation, document decisions, and follow through on next steps.
- Build trust with clients through clear communication and honest updates so issues are raised early and handled before they escalate.
- Capture client feedback thoroughly, share it with the right engineer in enough detail to act on, and close the loop with the client once resolved.
- Step into the development lifecycle where needed by writing specs, outlining UX flows, refining protos, validating releases in staging, or pairing with engineers on difficult requirements.
- Support team growth by keeping engineers aligned with their learning plans and helping them build product thinking through client exposure and context sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in a similar role delivering software products used by real customers.
- Proven ability to run a scrum-based delivery cadence and keep a small engineering team shipping consistently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce concise specs, facilitate focused meetings, and turn ambiguous client input into actionable work.
- Comfort using Monday.com, or a similar tool such as Linear, Jira, or Asana, and the ability to adopt Monday quickly if needed.
- Solid technical fluency: enough to read Go and TypeScript PR discussions, understand REST, gRPC, and protobuf concepts, know what Cloud Run does, and have experience with cloud databases such as Spanner or Postgres.
- A habit of documenting decisions, actions, and trade-offs clearly, including the reasoning behind choosing one option over another.
- Must have a remote-work-ready setup with a minimum Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 CPU and at least 16 GB RAM.
Technical environment
The role sits within a modern product and engineering stack that includes Go services, Vue 3, TypeScript, Tailwind, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Cloud Run, Cloud Spanner, Google ADK, Terraform, Cloud Build, and Monday.com. Familiarity with these technologies is important so you can participate effectively in technical discussions and delivery planning.
Work style
This role suits someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable keeping multiple products moving at once. You should be confident in client-facing communication, able to maintain disciplined execution, and willing to occasionally get hands-on when that is the fastest way to unblock the team.
Team development
You will also contribute to building the team’s maturity by reinforcing learning plans, helping engineers understand the product context behind priorities, and involving them in client conversations when appropriate.
