Sous Chef

Role Overview

ALI BIN ALI is looking for an accomplished Sous Chef to support its kitchen operations in Doha. In this role, you will work alongside the Head Chef to keep service running efficiently, maintain food standards, and help lead the culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with the day-to-day coordination of all kitchen operations.
• Supervise the preparation, cooking, and final presentation of dishes.
• Make sure meals are produced to a consistently high standard and follow established recipes.
• Train, guide, and monitor kitchen team members.
• Track stock levels and arrange replenishment of supplies when required.
• Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.

Education and Experience

• A graduate qualification or certificate in culinary arts, such as an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from a culinary institute, community college, or technical school.
• Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or in a comparable role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of culinary methods, preparation standards, and kitchen practices.
