Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Debre Markos calls for a Security Officer who can oversee assigned locations, carry out routine patrols, and stay alert to activities that could signal risk, misconduct, or other security concerns. Key Duties

Watch assigned areas carefully and carry out regular patrols to detect possible threats or rule breaches.
Verify identity documents and manage access to facilities in line with security procedures.
Inspect premises, equipment, and surroundings for safety concerns or suspicious activity.
Report incidents, unusual behavior, and security risks without delay.
Prepare clear, accurate records of incidents and day-to-day security activities.
Support investigations and follow established rules, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Coordinate with coworkers and respond appropriately during emergencies.
Assist visitors and community members in a professional, respectful manner.
Take part in briefings, training programs, and security drills as required.
