Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard position in Karaikal. The role is focused on protecting the premises, controlling access, and helping maintain a safe and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Key Duties

• Keep the premises secure by observing entry and exit points and allowing access only to authorised people.
• Check visitors and employees as required and maintain a watchful presence throughout the facility.
• Carry out regular patrols to identify security risks or unusual activity.
• Support the safety of staff and visitors while following company security rules and procedures.
• Respond quickly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies and escalate issues appropriately.
• Report suspicious behaviour, breaches, and other irregularities in a timely manner.
• Use basic security tools and equipment properly as part of daily duties.
• Offer courteous customer service when interacting with visitors and staff.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for someone who understands physical security practices and can handle private security and personnel protection responsibilities with professionalism. The ideal candidate should be alert, able to manage conflict calmly, and comfortable working in emergency situations. Prior experience in security is beneficial but not mandatory. A strong sense of discipline, good communication, and a willingness to work different shifts are important for this role.

Notes

Previous work as a security guard or in a similar role will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with common security protocols and equipment is also helpful.
