Role overview
This position focuses on managing a portfolio of accounts to grow lending and deposit balances, strengthen profitability, and protect asset quality through deeper engagement with both existing and prospective customers.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen customer relationships and bring in new business to meet targets for loans, RRWA, and CASA.
- Carry out timely reviews of lending facilities to support strong asset quality.
- Expand wallet share and promote other banking products through cross-selling.
- Drive growth from both existing customers and new business opportunities.
- Submit credit proposals and new loan cases to GCMS and the Credit Committee in Singapore and Malaysia for approval.
- Identify weak accounts and recommend suitable exit strategies when needed.
- Review current loans promptly and consistently.
- Build long-term customer retention plans and organic growth strategies by maintaining strong client relationships and encouraging referrals.
- Develop business plans that support growth in loans and deposits while improving profitability.
- Support a cross-selling culture and promote CASA growth.
- Monitor loan portfolio quality to reduce and prevent NPLs and improve RRWA.
- Apply internal risk-rating policies and use structured methods to support or exit weaker accounts as appropriate.

Requirements
- A tertiary qualification from a recognized university is required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- At least 2 years of experience in credit and marketing roles within SME or middle-market banking.
- A self-driven, target-focused mindset is essential.
- Strong analytical ability and sound public relations skills are needed.
- High integrity and professionalism are expected.
