QA Engineer

Overview

This role sits with a major multidisciplinary engineering contractor known for delivering the design, fabrication, and installation of complex mechanical and electrical systems. Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections to confirm electrical installation work meets quality expectations.
• Drive snagging activities by organizing and participating in walkdowns, surveillance checks, and site observations.
• Assess installed works carefully to support smooth, snag-free client walkdowns.
• Complete and approve First of a Kind activities.
• Handle document control tasks for drawings, schedules, and technical specifications used during construction.
• Take responsibility for quality assurance across the assigned turnover scope from construction completion through final handover.

Requirements

• Either a qualified electrical trade background or a degree in an engineering discipline relevant to the role.
• Prior experience in a comparable quality assurance position.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience working on large construction projects.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and technical workflows.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
