Role overview
Innovation City is looking for a motivated, self-starting Program Manager to build and run a suite of programs focused on startups. The role centers on supporting founders and early-stage businesses at every stage, from initial onboarding and setup through growth, market entry, and scaling. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to create meaningful programs from scratch.
What you will do
- Develop and deliver startup programs end to end, covering onboarding, incubation, and growth support.
- Serve as the main contact for participating startups and help ensure a smooth, high-quality founder journey.
- Guide startups through setup and relocation activities while coordinating with both internal teams and outside partners.
- Build connections between startups and the wider ecosystem, including corporates, collaborators, and mentors.
- Plan and run program events such as workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking activities.
- Follow startup progress, collect input from participants, and use that feedback to strengthen the program.
- Work closely with partnerships, marketing, and operations teams to deliver strong program outcomes.
- Measure key performance indicators and prepare routine updates and reports on results.
Qualifications and background
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline. Relevant experience includes 3 to 6 years in startup ecosystems, accelerators, incubators, venture capital platforms, or innovation hubs. A solid grasp of startup challenges, entrepreneurship, and early-stage business needs is important, along with prior exposure to program, project, or community management.
