Role overview
We are looking to connect with skilled Machine Operators for upcoming temporary and permanent roles in East and South Auckland. These opportunities span the food, beverage, FMCG, and wider manufacturing sectors.
The ideal candidate is dependable and comfortable working in a production setting where safety, product quality, hygiene, and consistent output matter every day.
What the role involves
- Running production, processing, or packaging machinery.
- Keeping an eye on equipment performance and carrying out quality inspections.
- Handling product or line changeovers.
- Logging output, downtime, and other production details.
- Spotting machine issues and escalating faults as needed.
- Cleaning and sanitising machines and surrounding work areas.
- Working in line with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience operating machinery in food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience setting up equipment, operating it, and watching it during production runs.
- Confidence with basic adjustments and changeovers.
- Exposure to production targets and quality standards.
- Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and GMP expectations.
- Ability to complete production documentation and report equipment problems.
- Willingness to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts.
- Experience with filling, bottling, labelling, packaging, mixing, blending, or automated production lines would be an advantage.
