Java Developer

About the Role

Capgemini Technology Services India Limited is hiring a Java Developer for its Hyderabad location. The role calls for strong technical depth across modern Java application development, service-oriented design, and data-focused workflows.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and maintain solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.
• Develop and support ETL and other data processing pipelines.
• Create and manage event-driven components with Apache Kafka, including producer and consumer implementations.
• Work with REST APIs for development, integration, and testing activities.
• Design and optimize relational data structures, including normalization, modeling, and database performance tuning.
• Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle in day-to-day development.
• Collaborate in Agile delivery environments and apply strong analytical problem-solving approaches.
• Follow secure coding practices and contribute to vulnerability remediation efforts.

Desired Technical Exposure

• Hands-on knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Exposure to AI-enabled coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf.
