Role Overview
This position is for a Human Resources Coordinator supporting day-to-day HR operations at a hotel property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within a non-management, full-time schedule and focuses on maintaining organized records, assisting candidates and employees, and ensuring smooth administrative support for the HR team.
Key Duties
- Set up and maintain filing and recordkeeping systems for HR documents and employee information.
- Prepare office correspondence on a computer and handle incoming and outgoing mail distribution.
- Manage ordering and tracking of HR office supplies, forms, and related materials.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route information to the right people.
- Open and organize new employee personnel files.
- Support walk-in candidates with application steps and keep the application area clean, accessible, and suitable for people with disabilities.
- Address employee and management questions, requests, and concerns related to HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Escalate employee relations issues to HR management when needed.
- Safeguard confidentiality and security for employee and property records, files, and sensitive information.
- Maintain complete and accurate employee records, including interview documentation and I-9 records.
- Follow company rules, service standards, professional appearance requirements, and confidentiality expectations.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workplace conditions promptly.
- Use clear, professional communication with employees, guests, and managers.
- Work cooperatively with others, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns from colleagues.
- Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
- Handle light physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 pounds when required.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- No previous supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, work accurately, and follow established procedures.
- Comfort with administrative systems, telephone handling, and computer-based documentation.
