About the Role

The Human Resources team is central to supporting the workforce by providing the guidance, tools, and assistance employees need to perform well. This opening is for a highly organized and detail-focused Human Resources Assistant who can contribute to the efficient running of the HR department.
In this position, you will support a broad range of HR activities, including hiring coordination, onboarding, employee support, records administration, compliance tracking, and internal communication. The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, has strong administrative abilities, and can manage sensitive information with care while helping maintain accurate HR processes and documentation.
Recruitment and Hiring Support
- Support hiring activities by publishing job ads, reviewing applications, and helping organize interview schedules.
- Coordinate interview appointments and keep candidates informed during each stage of the selection process.
- Draft offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork.
- Keep recruitment files and applicant tracking records organized and up to date.
Onboarding and Employee Administration
- Help plan and run new hire orientation and onboarding sessions.
- Set up employee files and confirm that all required forms and records are completed and stored properly.
- Respond to employee questions and basic HR requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate employee databases, filing systems, and other HR records.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Keep personnel information current, accurate, and aligned with company rules and legal obligations.
- Assist in tracking HR procedures and compliance requirements.
- Prepare HR reports, summaries, and supporting documents as needed.
- Help administer employee handbooks, workplace policies, and related procedures.
Employee Engagement and Support
- Contribute to employee engagement activities, training efforts, and company events.
- Assist with performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- Help share internal HR announcements and other employee communications.
- Build positive working relationships with employees across departments.
General Administrative Support
- Handle HR correspondence, calendars, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other HR-related materials.
- Organize and safeguard confidential staff records and personnel files.
- Provide administrative help to the HR Manager and leadership team when required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
- Strong skills in organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to treat sensitive information confidentially and use good judgment.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
