Role overview
NVIDIA is expanding its outreach across High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by running hackathons, bootcamps, and related community programs with national labs, universities, and industry collaborators. These initiatives help researchers adopt accelerated computing and improve their work on GPUs and CPUs.
The APAC Program Manager will coordinate these events across Asia Pacific, owning logistics, data management, and community-building efforts. The role suits someone who enjoys bringing people together, staying highly organized, and learning quickly in a fast-moving environment.
What you will do
- Partner with internal NVIDIA teams and external ecosystem partners to deliver online and in-person hackathons, bootcamps, and community activities.
- Advise partners throughout the planning cycle, including defining goals, setting schedules, clarifying requirements, managing communications, and arranging event support.
- Run planning discussions end to end so all stakeholders remain coordinated and informed.
- Oversee application handling, participant registration, and event notifications.
- Support events by moderating sessions, administering online tools, and managing on-site logistics when required.
- Handle event-related data gathering, maintenance, and reporting.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of background in technical event management, including logistics, service requirements, timelines, communications, and staffing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Business or Marketing is preferred.
- Strong interest in educating others while also managing data and projects.
- Comfort working in a changing environment with multiple events running across different time zones.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and handle issues under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Hands-on proficiency in XLS automation.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to juggle several priorities at once.
- Excellent spoken and written English, plus strong interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred background
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Exposure to facilitating group training sessions.
- Familiarity with C/C++, Fortran, Python, or other programming languages.
- Ability to learn quickly and help elevate the program to the next level.
