Graphic Designer

Position Summary

MJ2 Marketing is looking for a detail-focused, imaginative Graphic Designer who can turn brand ideas into engaging visual work. In this role, you will create polished creative assets for digital, print, web, and campaign use that help clients reach their growth goals.

You will work as part of a collaborative creative group alongside strategists, marketers, content creators, and developers. The role calls for someone who can produce effective marketing materials, strengthen brand messaging, and contribute to stronger audience engagement. Success in this position requires a fast-paced agency mindset, openness to feedback, solid design fundamentals, and strategic thinking.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create marketing and advertising materials for both digital and print use, such as social posts, website graphics, email creatives, presentations, digital ads, brochures, trade show pieces, and branded collateral.
• Develop visual concepts and final designs that support client objectives, marketing plans, and existing brand standards.
• Work closely with account managers, content strategists, digital marketers, and developers to deliver integrated campaign work.
• Keep visual output aligned across client and internal materials by following brand identity rules consistently.
• Update and improve creative assets using campaign results, stakeholder input, and changing business needs.
• Build layouts, icons, graphics, and visual systems that improve clarity, usability, and communication.
• Prepare files that are ready for production in both digital and print formats, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Take part in brainstorming, concept creation, and campaign planning discussions.
• Stay informed about design trends, new tools, AI-supported creative solutions, and current best practices.
• Handle several projects at once while keeping deadlines and creative standards on track.

Key Focus Areas

Most of the role is centered on creating high-impact design assets that support marketing efforts and business growth, preserving strong brand identity and visual quality, and working with internal teams to support campaign execution and process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, marketing, or in-house creative setting.
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Hands-on experience with Figma and other collaborative design tools.
• Good understanding of typography, color, composition, branding, and visual communication.
• Experience creating designs for social media, email, websites, and paid digital advertising.
• Working knowledge of print production workflows and file preparation standards.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design basics and responsive web design practices.
• Motion graphics or simple animation skills are an advantage.
• Awareness of AI-based design tools and newer creative technologies is beneficial.
• Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage priorities in a busy agency environment.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to keep learning through training and skill development.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Dublin, Ohio. The position is suited to someone who enjoys a collaborative agency environment and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high creative standards.
