Role overview
Gourmet Food Parlour is growing its catering arm and is looking to add approachable, professional Event Crew members to the Santry team in Dublin. The position focuses on delivering catering services across Leinster for corporate events, elite sports teams, and private functions.
This role includes both drop-off catering and buffet-style service, with responsibility for preparing event spaces, serving guests, and clearing down after events.
Key duties
- Transport food orders to multiple venues throughout the day.
- Prepare buffet service areas and present them neatly and professionally.
- Support the setup and pack-down of events at different locations nationwide.
- Load and unload catering stock, equipment, and food items according to schedule.
- Represent the business in a courteous, polished, and customer-focused manner.
- Handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting for setup and teardown.
Essential criteria
- Applicants must be at least 23 years old because of insurance conditions.
- A full, clean driving licence is mandatory.
- Prior experience in hospitality or catering is required.
- Background in food service is needed.
- Strong spoken English is essential.
- Must be able to work a 40-hour week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Preferred qualities
- HACCP and food safety certification would be an advantage.
- Comfortable working independently as well as with others.
- Energetic, proactive, and willing to work hard.
