About Share
Share is a venture-funded startup creating a fast-scaling internet network. It operates as a bandwidth marketplace, bringing together spare telecom capacity such as fiber, submarine cables, and data-center infrastructure so internet service providers, hyperscalers, and AI companies can access bandwidth more efficiently, with faster delivery and lower costs.
Role overview
This is Share’s first in-house recruitment position. The person in this role will own the complete talent function and work side by side with the founders in a highly engineering-focused environment. The goal is to help the company attract, hire, and keep top global talent for both technical and non-technical positions, with most hiring centered on highly technical network, systems, and software engineering profiles.
The company is looking for someone who has helped build recruiting from the ground up, understands how to draw exceptional people to a distinctive mission, and wants their work to have visible impact in a company that is helping connect the next billion people to the internet.
What you will own
- Candidate attraction: Identify, engage, and convert high-quality talent across technical roles such as network, systems, and software engineering, as well as non-technical areas including operations, sales, and marketing.
- Employer branding: Shape Share’s reputation in global talent markets and build a story that draws outstanding candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, communities, and every candidate touchpoint.
- End-to-end hiring: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including founder intake, drafting job descriptions, sourcing plans, screening, interview scheduling, candidate experience, and offer handling.
- Recruiting operations: Own the applicant tracking system, keep records accurate, document playbooks, and build the hiring processes the company will scale on. The current ATS in use is Ashby.
- Founder collaboration: Partner with the founders on hiring philosophy, compensation decisions, and top-of-funnel strategy, bringing a clear opinion and contributing actively to decisions.
What the team is looking for
- 2 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in a startup in-house environment or at a boutique search firm.
- Proven ability to recruit highly technical professionals, especially network, systems, and software engineers.
- Practical experience managing an ATS from start to finish, such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or a similar platform.
- Strong instinct for sourcing and candidate outreach.
- Capability to create and maintain a compelling employer brand narrative.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and moving quickly within a lean, founder-led setup.
Nice to have
- Experience recruiting across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
- Exposure to infrastructure, telecom, fintech, or deep-tech hiring.
- Background in executive search or retained search work.
- Familiarity with AI-supported recruiting tools and automation workflows.
Compensation and working style
This role offers a competitive salary plus meaningful early-stage equity with a standard vesting schedule. The position is remote-first, so you can work from wherever you do your best thinking.
