Food Processor (Raw Processing)

Role Overview

This position is focused on raw meat preparation and processing within a food production environment. The role supports day-to-day manufacturing work by handling meat products, operating basic processing machines, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring output meets product and safety standards.

Key Duties

• Handle raw meat safely and carry out processing tasks.
• Trim, portion, slice, and prepare meat to the required specifications.
• Use basic processing equipment and machinery such as grinders, choppers, bowl cutters, and fillers.
• Weigh and separate meat items according to product requirements.
• Clean processing tools, equipment, and the production area.
• Keep work surfaces and machinery clean and sanitary in line with food safety rules.
• Flag quality concerns to the supervisor as soon as they are identified.
• Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines to maintain a compliant environment.
• Carry out daily housekeeping tasks as part of routine operations.

Working Schedule

The job follows a 5.5-day workweek. Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or production is an advantage, though it is not compulsory.
• Ability to take instructions well and contribute effectively in a team setting.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment of around 15°C.
