As our project portfolio expands both locally and internationally, we are looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Libya. This position is crucial for facilitating the efficient coordination of our projects based in Benghazi, Libya.
Role Purpose
The Document Controller will be responsible for the precise management, control, and dissemination of project documentation across various projects. This role serves as a central hub for information flow, providing support to project teams, clients, and contractors through established document control procedures and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and upkeep of all project documentation, including filing systems and archiving procedures, to guarantee accuracy and accessibility.
- Manage and coordinate documents submitted for review, approval, and construction using the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Supervise the distribution of technical documents and official communications among project teams, clients, contractors, and external parties.
- Administer the company's document control software, ensuring strict version control and accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to facilitate smooth information exchange across all disciplines.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes promptly and in an organized format.
