DevOps Manager / DevOps Engineer

Role overview

We are looking for a DevOps leader to shape and run the company’s DevOps approach, infrastructure operations, and delivery practices. This role is focused on building scalable, secure, and highly available platforms that support growth and digital transformation.

The person in this position will guide cross-functional collaboration, improve automation, define CI/CD standards, and work closely with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to raise deployment speed, reliability, and overall operational quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and carry out the DevOps roadmap, operating model, and standards for the organization.
• Lead DevOps and infrastructure teams to deliver dependable, scalable, and secure technology environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD workflows that automate build, test, release, and deployment activities.
• Oversee cloud, container, and hybrid infrastructure to maintain strong availability and performance.
• Introduce and expand Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automation across systems and platforms.
• Set up effective monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response processes to strengthen reliability.
• Partner with development, QA, cybersecurity, and architecture groups to simplify delivery and improve release outcomes.
• Embed security and compliance controls into the delivery lifecycle through DevSecOps practices.
• Improve infrastructure scalability, capacity planning, performance, and cloud spend efficiency.
• Own disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning for essential systems.
• Handle vendor coordination, platform management, budgets, and infrastructure spending decisions.
• Create DevOps guidelines, technical documentation, operational runbooks, and governance structures.
• Assess new technologies and propose solutions that improve automation, productivity, and delivery efficiency.
• Coach and grow technical teams while promoting teamwork, learning, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Solid grasp of DevOps methods, Agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience using CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, virtualization, and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and performance management solutions.
• Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals, DevSecOps, identity management, and infrastructure security.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder handling skills.
• Excellent analytical ability, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate, ITIL, PMP, or similar are considered a plus.
