Overview

This contract opportunity is for a Content Manager to guide the creation, refinement, and rollout of compelling digital content across multiple online channels. The role supports a web content management group responsible for maintaining a major business website, including publishing new pages, promoting offers, and contributing to an active site migration program.

The team works in a fast-moving setting and needs someone who can learn quickly, handle work with precision, and deliver on tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and update website content across the organization’s business site.
Create and publish new pages and promotional campaigns.
Work closely with UX, development, and writing/content teams to deliver digital experiences.
Handle web projects with turnaround times of roughly 3 to 5 days.
Coordinate with QA to verify accuracy and quality before anything goes live.
Manage around five active projects at the same time, with volume shifting based on business needs.

Tools and Platform Environment

Sitecore 8 and Sitecore 10 are the primary CMS platforms; familiarity with Page Editor and Content Editor is preferred because of the ongoing migration.
Figma is used as a reference for UX and design work.
ServiceNow or Jira is used for intake and workflow tracking.
Work is carried out in a Microsoft-based environment.

Ideal Background

The client is looking for someone with a background in web content operations and CMS work, preferably within Sitecore. The right candidate should be comfortable collaborating across UX, engineering, and content teams, and should be able to interpret website needs and execute independently in a changing, deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of HTML and front-end basics would be helpful, though it is not mandatory.

Team Setup

The content team includes three other editors, one of whom is a senior editor. Collaboration with QA is a key part of the workflow.
