Role overview
PointClickCare is hiring an experienced Content Designer for a 6-month contract in the USA. This position is fully remote, though remote team members should expect occasional travel for in-person activities tied to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices, such as onboarding, team gatherings, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
The team requests a portfolio that shows prior work in UI content, instructional documentation, microcopy, and, where available, AI-assisted or conversational design samples.
As part of a founder-led health tech company, this role supports the creation of clear, useful, and consistent product content that helps customers use software confidently. The work sits within the User Experience organization and involves shaping content for new and existing platforms so they feel intuitive and easy to learn.
What you'll do
You will partner with UX designers, engineers, and product leaders across the design lifecycle. This includes researching content needs, creating content strategies, refining mockups and prototypes, and writing the language customers rely on to complete tasks successfully.
The role also involves anticipating user needs, applying content standards, supporting content architecture, and helping establish best practices that align with PointClickCare design principles. In addition, you will use AI as a design partner where appropriate and help shape basic conversational experiences for simple, accessible interactions.
Contract and location details
