Role Summary

The Construction Foreman position is a full-time, on-site role in Fraser Valley A, British Columbia. In this role, you will manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment so that work is completed safely, on time, and according to project requirements. Key Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the job site and keep work moving efficiently.
• Coordinate labour crews, subcontractors, and equipment usage.
• Review and understand drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
• Organize work sequences and delegate tasks to team members.
• Monitor progress against schedule and required standards.
• Carry out quality checks and confirm that work matches plans and specifications.
• Address on-site problems quickly and keep the project running smoothly.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Share project updates with supervisors and project managers.
• Provide practical support on the tools when the situation requires it.
• Help coach, train, and guide crew members.

Qualifications and Job Expectations

• Hands-on construction background appropriate for supervising field operations.
• Working knowledge of civil engineering concepts used in civil construction.
• Experience coordinating heavy equipment and ensuring safe site operation.
• Strong verbal communication skills for leading crews and working with subcontractors and management.
• Background in quality control, including checking work, confirming compliance, and recording issues.
• Previous leadership experience as a foreman, lead hand, or similar site supervisory role.
• Solid commitment to safety procedures and compliance with relevant provincial regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Trade certification or technical training in construction or civil works is considered an advantage.
