Role Overview
This position supports private banking client relationships by handling service requests, preparing meeting materials, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal teams to keep client servicing smooth, compliant, and timely.
Client Support
- Respond to client questions and concerns related to private banking products and services.
- Deliver tailored support to help maintain a strong client experience.
Client Meetings
- Organize the documents needed for client meetings and track follow-up actions before and after the meeting.
- Handle items such as expired W8Ben, RPQ, and VC forms.
- Attend in-person meetings with clients together with Relationship Managers when needed.
Account Management
- Maintain and refresh client records while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process updates such as mailing or registered address changes, contact detail changes, identification document updates, and POA changes.
- Monitor accounts and transactions for opportunities and risks, including TD and loan due items, corporate actions, credit breaches, trade entries, settlements, and funding matters.
Compliance and Documentation
- Make sure all client paperwork meets regulatory standards.
- Support documentation for account opening, periodic reviews, loan applications, AA renewals, and trade instructions, including risk mismatch disclosures and client funding instructions.
- Help prepare compliance and audit materials by gathering requested documents and information.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track client accounts and transactions to support compliance with both internal and external rules.
- Ensure investments are adequately funded, and that TDs and loans are renewed on time.
- Assist Relationship Managers in following up on loan shortfalls and margin call situations.
Collaboration
- Partner with product specialists, operations teams, and other internal stakeholders to provide well-rounded client solutions.
- Serve as a communication link between clients and different bank departments for matters such as cheque clearance, giro transactions, statement retrievals, credit card status, disputes, waivers, and statement requests.
- Support PWOP-related matters involving cash, documentation, and securities.
Sales Support
- Help identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Share potential opportunities with Relationship Managers and review client portfolios.
Requirements
- Degree holder.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting Relationship Managers in wealth management.
- Experience in client-facing work with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- CMFAS and CACS certifications are preferred.
Additional Information
This role is based in Singapore and is a full-time onsite position.
