Role overview
Bath Spa University is seeking a dependable and committed Cleaner to support the Estates & Services team at Newton Park Campus in Bath, Somerset. The post plays an important part in keeping the campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
What the job involves
In this role, you will look after the cleaning of University buildings and spaces. The team works with a positive, hands-on attitude and takes pride in supporting the campus community. You will also contribute to excellent customer service while helping maintain a high standard across the site.
The working environment is active and varied, so each day may bring different tasks and priorities.
What the University is looking for
The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, follow instructions carefully, and manage time well. You should also be comfortable working with others, have prior experience in cleaning or customer service, and be able to use basic computer systems. Familiarity with cleaning products is also expected.

Additional information
This position is offered at Grade 2 with a salary of £25,949 per year.
The University hosts weekend events, courses, and conferences, so staff may occasionally need to work weekends. Where this happens, pay will be handled in line with the applicable terms and conditions of service.
The work is physically demanding and includes frequent bending, stretching, and lifting.
