Role overview
Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas is looking for a warm, polished and guest-oriented Butler to support visitors staying in the assigned Villas and Suites. The position focuses on delivering highly personalized service and creating a stay that feels seamless, attentive and memorable.
Key duties
- Greet guests on arrival and walk them through the layout and features of their Suite or Villa.
- Serve as the main contact point for guests throughout their stay and help coordinate their requests and arrangements.
- Observe guest preferences and proactively address needs with individualized service.
- Work closely with the Front Office Guest Service team and other departments to arrange requests such as in-room dining, restaurant reservations, laundry, spa appointments, special celebrations and off-property needs.
- Coordinate discreet access for operational departments that need to enter the Suite or Villa, such as housekeeping, pool maintenance, turndown support and engineering, either while the guest is away or with the guest’s awareness.
- Stay fully informed about the facilities, technology and in-room amenities available in the Villas and Suites.
- Keep guests updated on hotel services, promotions, activities and facilities in a clear and helpful way.
- Record guest comments and service issues through QMS, Glitch and PMS.
- Be present at departure to provide a courteous farewell experience.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will bring at least 1 year of experience in Front Office or a comparable guest-service position. Strong English communication skills, good interpersonal ability and solid problem-solving skills are important. Comfort with computers is expected, and prior experience using Opera is considered an advantage.
