Billing Advisor

Role overview

This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a Billing Advisor, offered at an umbrella pay rate of £15.00 to £19.00 per hour. The position is based in Cardiff and follows a hybrid working model tied to the client’s office.

Working pattern

The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

What you’ll be doing

You will help maintain the accuracy and reliability of data held on the client’s database. The role focuses on spotting inconsistencies, improving data quality, and assisting internal teams and customers with metering-related questions.

• Review reports to detect incorrect or invalid information on the national database and take the necessary corrective steps.
• Look into data mismatches, identify the underlying causes, and apply fixes that help stop the same issues from happening again.
• Handle several reports and tasks at once while meeting deadlines and service expectations.
• Work with customers when needed to obtain or verify correct metering details.
• Monitor and manage a shared inbox, making sure requests are dealt with promptly and within agreed timeframes.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement by spotting patterns, risks, and ways to strengthen data accuracy and workflows.
