Описание работы
Role Overview
This part-time remote Video Editor position at Rede Nacional de Educação Cidadã is centered on creating educational and civic-engagement videos for online audiences. The work involves turning raw footage into polished, easy-to-follow stories, adding subtitles, aligning audio, and making sure each output follows the organization’s branding and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will edit both short- and long-form video content, choose and blend music and sound effects, and apply color correction and basic color grading to improve visual consistency. You will work with producers, educators, and communications team members to shape content for social media, websites, and events. The position also includes producing simple motion graphics or graphic elements when needed, keeping media files organized, handling version tracking, and exporting final deliverables for different channels.
You will also join virtual meetings, share creative ideas, and work independently while keeping quality high and deadlines on track.
Qualifications
Applicants should have solid video production knowledge, including familiarity with camera formats, codecs, frame rates, and either on-set or remote production workflows. You should be comfortable using non-linear editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software to build and refine narrative and educational videos.
Experience with color grading and color correction is important, along with the ability to create motion graphics and handle design assets such as titles, lower thirds, and infographics using tools like After Effects or equivalent applications. A strong eye for storytelling, pacing, transitions, and audio quality is essential.
The role also calls for someone who can juggle several projects at once, deliver work on time in a remote setup, and communicate effectively through digital tools. Experience in educational, social-impact, or community-focused media is an added advantage. A portfolio or demo reel is preferred, especially if it shows editing, color work, and motion graphics. Basic awareness of accessibility practices, such as captions, readable text, and clear audio, is also desirable.
