Role Overview
This position is for an experienced UX Designer who can turn frontier AI capabilities into practical, easy-to-use legal workflows. The focus is on lowering mental effort for users, improving the overall experience, and keeping the platform consistent. You will own the design journey end to end, from research and information architecture through wireframes, polished interfaces, and quality checks. The role also includes rethinking onboarding, training content, and the prosumer sales funnel to improve engagement and conversions.
You will work directly with the CEO while partnering with product and engineering teams in a fast-moving, startup-style environment. The team is looking for someone who is excited about AI, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to help build a category-defining product.
Responsibilities
- Convert advanced AI features into clear, intuitive legal workflows that reduce user effort.
- Move quickly from early ideas to tested, refined, and shipped design solutions.
- Take ownership of the complete design process, including research, information architecture, wireframing, high-fidelity design, and QA.
- Improve onboarding journeys, training materials, and sales funnel experiences to support better activation and conversion.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and research teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.
- Conduct user research and turn insights into practical design updates.
- Help create AI-powered workflows that raise the standard for the industry.
- Champion user-centered design practices across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing SaaS or workflow products, backed by a portfolio of relevant work.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in design, including prototyping with generative AI.
- A history of shipping data-heavy or professional-grade products with measurable gains in conversion, NPS, or retention.
- Experience designing workflows that involve generative AI, along with solid knowledge of AI tools and methods.
- Strong Figma skills, including auto-layout, variants, and prototyping.
- Working knowledge of front-end limitations such as React components, CSS, and accessibility standards.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to identify risks early.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, lightly structured environments and delivering iteratively at speed.
- Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for building standout products.
- Genuine interest in AI and modern technology solutions.
- Preferred experience in LegalTech or legal workflows, along with user research capability and familiarity with generative AI from an engineering angle.
- Nice-to-have exposure to motion design, front-end coding, or a design degree.
