About the role
Delta Electronics Australia is looking for a Supply Planner to manage customer order flow end to end and help strengthen supply chain performance. The role is based in St Leonards, New South Wales, and supports the company’s broader mission of building smarter and greener solutions for the future.
What you will do
- Handle customer orders and quickly spot any shortages.
- Carry out purchasing work related to MPS, MRP, BOM items, and project needs.
- Take part in continuous improvement initiatives and LEAN manufacturing activities.
- Support import and export control tasks when needed.
- Help prepare and coordinate RFQ responses for review, along with project administration and reporting support.
- Use the master production schedule to raise and track purchase orders so customer deliveries and production targets are met.
- Work with engineering on advance purchasing so production can start on time and scheduling commitments are protected.
- Coordinate vendor schedules with suppliers.
- Complete quoting activities within required timelines.
- Support S&OP activities, with a strong focus on demand planning.
- Run regular demand meetings to address sales forecast concerns and supply risks.
- Prepare forecast data for each business unit.
- Collaborate across the business to improve forecast accuracy and support ongoing process improvement.
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and lead follow-through on resolutions.
- Communicate product availability updates from the supply team to the sales team.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to improve service levels and determine root causes when issues occur.
- Manage the full supply chain process for customer orders.
- Coordinate with the factory, business units, project managers, and overseas offices for datacentre projects in Australia and overseas.
- Handle the RMA process and spare parts support for service activities.
What we are looking for
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or inventory control in a related industry.
- Strong SAP capability is essential.
- A positive, independent approach with the confidence to manage tasks on your own.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay effective under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with a wide mix of internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on results.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative, proactive, and approachable working style.
- Willingness to grow with the organisation and move across functional areas over time.
- Evidence of strong extracurricular achievements that show initiative and ownership.
