Role overview
Weir Minerals in Rockhampton is seeking a practical, safety-focused Storeperson to help keep warehouse and site operations moving smoothly.
Key duties
- Work with a strong zero-harm mindset and contribute to a high-standard safety culture.
- Handle the movement of goods, including picking, packing, dispatching, receipting, and arranging transport.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-run warehouse and yard.
- Track stock accurately and complete necessary administrative tasks.
- Use forklifts, cranes, and company vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
- Perform checks and inspections to support quality control.
- Promote safe work practices every day and reinforce the zero-harm approach.
What you should bring
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores role.
- A valid High Risk Forklift Licence, which is required.
- A dogging ticket and SAP system experience, which would be an advantage.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
- A proactive, dependable attitude and a commitment to doing the job properly.
