Role overview

Weir Minerals in Rockhampton is seeking a practical, safety-focused Storeperson to help keep warehouse and site operations moving smoothly.

Key duties

• Work with a strong zero-harm mindset and contribute to a high-standard safety culture.
• Handle the movement of goods, including picking, packing, dispatching, receipting, and arranging transport.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-run warehouse and yard.
• Track stock accurately and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Use forklifts, cranes, and company vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
• Perform checks and inspections to support quality control.
• Promote safe work practices every day and reinforce the zero-harm approach.

What you should bring

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores role.
• A valid High Risk Forklift Licence, which is required.
• A dogging ticket and SAP system experience, which would be an advantage.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• A proactive, dependable attitude and a commitment to doing the job properly.
