Job overview
We are hiring a Scheduling Engineer in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia to provide technical advisory support for senior leadership. The role focuses on examining studies, analyses, project evaluations, and strategic reviews that help guide business and operational decisions.
What you will do
- Offer technical guidance and advisory support to senior leaders.
- Carry out technical studies, analytical work, and project evaluations.
- Work with teams across functions to identify issues and resolve technical challenges.
- Review project and operational information to support strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong capability in planning, scheduling, and project control practices.
- Draft project justifications and technical reports for management consideration.
- Review master plans and work plans and provide support where needed.
- Prepare and present management presentations.
- Handle schedule revisions and coordinate required changes with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or another related technical field. A background of 5 to 10 years in engineering is required, and additional experience is an advantage. The role also calls for hands-on exposure to planning, scheduling, and project controls in complex engineering or industrial settings.
You should bring strong technical depth in your engineering discipline, advanced knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, and the ability to perform studies, analyses, and assessments. Experience in reviewing project plans and adjusting them when changes arise is also important.
