Role Objective

The purpose of this position is to create garment samples in line with design inputs and make sure each piece is sewn with proper fit, finish, and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create development, fit, and proto samples according to the provided specifications.
• Interpret design sketches, size measurements, and sample briefs accurately.
• Coordinate closely with designers, pattern masters, and the NPD team.
• Recommend better approaches for garment construction and stitching processes.
• Complete sample work within the assigned timelines.
• Maintain consistent quality in stitching and finishing.
• Work with a range of fabrics and garment types.
• Assist during fitting sessions and carry out required alterations.
• Ensure that samples can move smoothly into production and are practical to manufacture.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working as a sample master in the apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of garment making and stitching methods.
• Hands-on experience with both woven and knit products.
• Ability to read measurements, patterns, and sample requirements correctly.
• Sharp attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
