What You’ll Be Doing
This position is for a Sales Representative to join the RECON team in New Zealand, using prior medical device sales experience to support business growth.
- Work alongside surgeons in the operating theatre while representing Zimmer Biomet’s RECON product range.
- Protect and grow existing accounts while also identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with important decision-makers.
- Participate actively as part of the theatre team.
- Deliver product in-services and training workshops.
- Stay current with surgical methods, clinical publications and competitor movements.
- Partner with internal teams across Marketing, Finance and Operations.
What Makes a Strong Candidate
The ideal applicant will bring a solid background in medical device sales, along with experience in operating theatre settings and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Tertiary study in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Science, or a closely related field.
- A proven sales record in medical devices, including areas such as orthopaedics, capital equipment or diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience in the operating theatre.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational ability.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, human anatomy and technologies that improve patient outcomes.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel across the assigned region is expected, approximately 90%.
- Occasional travel between islands or overseas may be required.
