Role overviewThis position is for a Retail Recruiter based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, supporting hiring across retail and back-office functions. The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment, building strong partnerships with HR and hiring managers, and strengthening talent attraction efforts for the retail division.Key responsibilitiesManage the full hiring cycle, including requisition approvals, hiring manager intake meetings, job posting, sourcing, application screening, interview coordination, and offer handling.Create and execute sourcing plans designed to attract a diverse pool of candidates.Develop productive working relationships with HR partners and hiring managers.Design assessment centres to support high-volume recruitment in the retail business.Use appropriate advertising channels to raise awareness and attract suitable applicants for important retail roles.Search internal and external talent pools to identify potential candidates and encourage them to apply.Guide and support candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview journey.Work closely with the Manager, Retail HRBP to build forward-looking talent pipelines for retail and back-office positions.Help prepare information and planning inputs for quarterly review discussions with key stakeholders on hiring performance, achievements, and improvement areas.Use recruitment systems correctly, maintain accurate records, and ensure all hiring data is suitable for reporting.Assist with additional back-office hiring projects when required.Contribute to employer branding efforts that improve talent interest and engagement.Skills and abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Goal-focused approach with the ability to deliver against key objectives.Proactive, action-oriented style when working with hiring managers and HR teams.Proven end-to-end recruitment experience across different levels.Comfort with change and the ability to adapt quickly.Experience using behavioural interview methods.Sound judgment, decision-making ability, and discretion with confidential information.Strong MS Office capability and experience with applicant tracking systems.Fluent communication in English, both spoken and written.Education and experienceA bachelor’s degree from a related discipline is required. The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with retail hiring experience preferred. Candidates should be fluent in English, bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, show initiative, and demonstrate solid organization and planning abilities.
