A fast-growing defense technology organization is looking for a Program Manager to oversee complex, high-stakes programs from initiation through completion. This position carries substantial ownership, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical outcomes, while working directly with government clients and prime contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Direct cross-functional efforts spanning engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and procurement
• Manage the complete program budget, including planning, financial analysis, tracking, and cost-saving initiatives
• Work with customers and partners to establish scope, milestones, and performance measures
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier execution
• Act as the main contact for customers, stakeholders, and partners
• Spot program risks early and build mitigation and backup plans

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing Department of Defense contracts and programs
• Current PMP certification
• Practical understanding of FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition procedures
• Demonstrated success leading Integrated Project Teams across several functions
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure a security clearance

Compensation and benefits

The position offers a base salary of $170,000 to $190,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), life insurance, and paid time off.
