Role overview
A fast-growing defense technology organization is looking for a Program Manager to oversee complex, high-stakes programs from initiation through completion. This position carries substantial ownership, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical outcomes, while working directly with government clients and prime contractors.
This opportunity is suited for a program leader who wants genuine decision-making authority and accountability for the programs they manage.
Key responsibilities
- Direct cross-functional efforts spanning engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and procurement
- Manage the complete program budget, including planning, financial analysis, tracking, and cost-saving initiatives
- Work with customers and partners to establish scope, milestones, and performance measures
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier execution
- Act as the main contact for customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Spot program risks early and build mitigation and backup plans
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience managing Department of Defense contracts and programs
- Current PMP certification
- Practical understanding of FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition procedures
- Demonstrated success leading Integrated Project Teams across several functions
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to secure a security clearance

Compensation and benefits
